David W Crisostomo was born in Guam and raised in the village of Talofofo. A Native Chamorro, son of Luis Cepeda Crisostomo and Teresita Salas Mantanona Crisostomo of Ipan-Talafofo. Married to Christine Mendiola Crisostomo and is a dedicated Father of three, Jason (39), Serena (28) and Janai (24). He enjoyed fishing, surfing, camping, and coconut crab hunting. Played Little thru Big- League Baseball for the Talofofo Rangers He graduated from George Washington Senior High School, Class of 1979. Served active duty in the United States Navy from 1979 to 1990 and reached the rank of Petty Officer First Class. US Navy tenure: served 8 years consecutive sea duty with 6 deployments, earned 3 Battle Efficiency Awards, numerous Campaign Expeditionary awards. Noteworthy, he assigned as a Command Career Counselor and won the Bronzed Anchor Awarded in his command category. After his tenure with the United States Navy, David attended San Diego City College and focus study on Manufacturing Engineering Technology. He was a licensed Real Estate Agent and Mortgage Loan Officer in the state of California, held position as a Sales Consultant and Manager in Retail and Automobile Management industries, 30 plus years. David is a Small Business owner, Marianas Irrigation and Landscape, a Wholesale, Retail, Small Engine Repair and a Consultant. He applied all his experiences and knowledge from his military, civilian and education to make his small business successful. He has strong leadership skills, always thinking and analyzing issues and problems with common sense. He welcomes challenges and sees them as opportunities. He will stand and fight for the needs and welfare of the island of Guam:
